“ I h a v en ’t e v e r

says Janna. “Everyone
loves comfort food in
the fall, so we have
homemade macaroni
and cheese, tomato soup,
and breadsticks.”The simple
menu keeps her out of the
kitchen and with her friends.
She skips the holiday-specific
decorations:“! simply don’t
have room to store things
that are only used once a
year” So she ‘shops’ around
her house for inspiration.
Black candlesticks move
from the mantel to the
buffet table to serve as
pedestals for sweet little
pumpkins.®
